Apple has released new, faster versions of its award-winning all-in-one desktop computer, the iMac. All iMacs feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, an integrated iSight camera, 8x Superdrive, WiFi and Bluetooth. There are 2 20″ models:

- 2.4GHz, 1GB memory, 250GB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory @ US$1200
- 2.6GHz, 2GB memory, 320GB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 256MB memory @ US$1500

1GB iPod shuffle now $49, plus new 2GB version

Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Purple (2nd Generation)

Apple has announced a price cut for the entry-level iPod, the iPod shuffle. You can now get the 1GB iPod shuffle for US$49, down from $79. Later this month, Apple will make available a higher capacity version of the music player, a 2GB iPod shuffle for $69. The price cut is long overdue, with many competitive products at the bottom end of the MP3 layer market.
